Can deciding what you are going to give your family for DINNER be stressful? This is a viable factor when you have kids. There are hidden pressures stemming from society's association of what you feed your kids vs. what type of parent you are. When my kids were small, I recall a lady shaking her head in disapproval as she watched my kids carry those happy meal boxes at the park. "Yes, I am busy! My kids eat fast food a day or so per week -- days when I work late. Where is the time to cook?" In reality, I probably could have hired a chef with the money I spent on eating out. We all have heard the stories of a friend whose kids preferred to eat celery and carrots over cookies and nuggets. Again, what is for dinner? The very sound of that makes my heels tremble on those days where you have hungry kids and a work or homework project that takes up most of your before-bedtime hours. Moms need a stash of recipes that are FAST, HEALTHY, and FILLING or maybe a list of restaurants and a delivery service on speed dial.
