Business Owners :
Try these tips to make your life easier. As a business owner, you can get overwhelmed by all of the options. There are business tools that do this and that. Each time I log into my social media accounts, I see at least one advertisement that asks me to subscribe to something. It is easy to get sucked into the subscription world. Be cautious about signing up for a service before doing your research. Believe it or not, there is usually a FREE option out there.
Do you use an appointment scheduler? If you run a business that needs to schedule appointments for clients, try www.youcanbookme.com. This is an appointment booking site that integrates with your Google or other calendar. You can select time slots and block out times with ease. Preset your business hours, then share your link by email or on your website.
Do you use Instagram?Instagram is one of those awesome programs that helps you reach a large audience daily. People are able to see your pictures and read your posts mostly from their cell phones. As a business owner, using the cell phone is not always the most efficient way to use Instagram. What if the picture is sent to your computer? Would you text the image to your cell and place it in your phone's gallery to share it? Again, time is precious. Using your computer to manage your Instagram account may be something you have wished for many times over. Wish no longer! Makeup is one of those topics that varies from person to person. I have been wearing makeup since my high school years. After struggling with acne, I had to take action about how I apply my makeup and remove it. There are two rules that I live by: "Never apply makeup with your hands" and "always use a makeup remover and not soap".
Application: Get good quality make up brushes and application pads. Change them often. If your brushes are losing bristles or your pads are leaving crumbs, you need new ones. I change mine monthly. Keep your items organized. Get a makeup box with compartments so your tools are not pressed against each other when they are not being used. This will allow time for drying without the exposure to outside bacteria. People who leave items on the bathroom sink are breeding all kinds of bacteria on their make-up brushes and pads.
Cleansing: I buy bottled makeup remover for when I'm at home and removal cloths when I travel. I keep a pack of cloths in my purse too for when I go to the gym after work.
Preparation is key: Having a routine with makeup is just as important as brushing your teeth. You may not see the results until years later, but protecting your skin and looking your best should not be compromised.
